Fines of £300 per unit or building can be issued if you fail to keep, commission or provide an air conditioning report that has been lodged on the Central Register. Under the discretion of Trading Standards, these fines can be issued again on a daily, monthly, quarterly or annual basis.

In addition, if an officer of an enforcement authority requests a copy of your air conditioning inspection report, a fixed fine of £200 per unit/building is issued if this can not be provided within seven days.
